Maureen Salazar is the founder of Waterlemon.  She has a talent for fusing trend and function into amazing and beautiful product lines.  She is a designer, inventor, and life long entrepreneur with an expertise in infant development.

Maureen has designed toys, gear and accessories for Infantino, Sassy Baby, Skip Hop, Itzy Ritzy, Lamaze, SpinMaster, Disney, and Radio Flyer.

The Story of "Waterlemon" 

"I love designing for babies and their parents.  I am parent of two and have learned so much by testing my own toy and gear ideas with my family.  As a special needs parent I have experienced my children reaching their milestones more slowly and deliberately than others, adding to my understanding of infant and child development.  The name Waterlemon is my children's mispronunciation of the word watermelon.  It reflects the journey of parenthood -- learning to let go of timelines and expectations and to simply enjoy sweet childhood moments, with all their adorable imperfections."
